Conservative Policy Forum meeting
The Conservative Policy Forum is up and running again – but, with Theresa May MP being gifted the leadership of the Conservative Party, the original intended discussion The merits and advantages of the candidates in the leadership of the Conservative Party is irrelevant.
- Instead, there will be two subjects to discuss:
How to improve communications with your elected members: MPs,
local councillors and the Police and Crime Commissioner.
AND
How to persuade more people in South and South East Cambridgeshire
to vote Conservative in the 2017 County and 2018 SCDC elections - 7.00 for 7.30 pm.
- Foxton Village Hall, Hardman Road, Foxton, CB22 6RN.
- Coffee and biscuits available.
- £2.00 donation welcome to cover costs.
- Please let Mark Howard know you will be attending Mark-Howard@uwclub.net.
Mark Howard is the Chairman of this group, which exists to discuss an issue put forward by Conservative Central Office.
Through the CPF, the Party is kept informed of Members’ opinions when deciding policy (unlike the Labour Party which appears only to take notice of its union paymasters).
The more Members attending, the more valid your arguments and views – so please do come and listen to the arguments and air your views. All SCCA members are automatically eligible to join the discussion.
If you are not currently on the CPF mailing list, please e-mail denise@sccf.org.uk ask for your name to be added.
