Andrew Lansley MP has been to the site which will become the new Cambourne Village College from 2013.  It is the first new secondary school to be constructed in Cambridgeshire in 30 years.

"As residents in South Cambridgeshire will know, the development of Cambourne has placed more pressure than expected upon local schools in the area," said Andrew.

"For several years we have been pushing for a new school, and for this to be part of a single educational trust was always the best solution –  it is therefore very exciting to see this now becoming a reality.”
