A great fun evening between SCCA, SECCA and CCCA
For the third annual Inter Constituency Quiz, Colin Barker once again produced a fun night with 120 'interesting' questions – a great mixture of tough and difficult plus the odd easier one too.
And for the third year running, City sneaked the Association prize, while the SCCA team 15th November and all that scooped the individual team prize (albeit by one point from South East's Wooden Spooners) – the 15th November and all that included serial winner Stephen Frost, who also made it three out of three wins.
Thanks for a really enjoyable evening most go to Colin for the questions and Denise Smith, Colin, Stephen and Linda Yeatman for the super supper.
▲ Cambridge City: the winning Association of Ron Clifton, Robert and Linda Yeatman.
▲ 15 November and all that – the winning team from South Cambridgeshire Conservative Association. Left to right: Adrian Dent, Ann Smith, Joyce Denby, Peter Mann, Julian Leigh and Stephen Frost.
▲ The Famous Five of Gordon Hilton-Jackson, Penny Brown, Maggie Hilton-Jackson, Jo Hall and Andrew Brown had the lowest score – they each received a Euro bag of goodies for their troubles. (Losers in another way, too: the camera's flash didn't fire, hence an out of focus photo – sorry!)
▲ Quiz Master – Colin Barker, on top form as usual.
▲ His special assistant – Denise Smith, without whom the Quiz would not have been such a good evening.
▲ Serial winner – Stephen Frost.
