Last night, local MP Andrew Lansley starred in a one-off Desert Island Discs to help raise funds for his local Conservative Association.
"It wasn't an official BBC event," said the Rev Dr John Barrett, who interviewed Andrew. "The 'DID' format was a super way of getting Andrew to talk about himself and share his musical tastes with us – and there were certainly some pleasant surprises!"
On arrival, guests were given a glass of wine, followed by a 'fork supper' before Andrew got into the hot seat and revealed his choice of music.
The event took place in the Cass Building, Cambridge University Press, Shaftesbury Road, off Brooklands Avenue, Cambridge.
There's a report about the event on the event reports page.
