Heidi is doing us proud!
Penny Brown writes: First, she is the guest on our desert island (a special spot in Foxton Village Hall – a change of venue, by the way – on 23rd February when she will be interviewed by the Rev Dr John Barrett and allowed to choose her eight favourite recordings.
The feeling in the office is Heidi’s musical tastes are her biggest secret – and I’m sure John’s way with questions will tease out a few more gems.
As another fundraiser for the Association, Heidi has asked Nicky Morgan MP to be her guest for ‘an intimate evening’ when Nicky will be in conversation with BBC Radio Cambs’ Chris Mann on 9th March at Longstowe Hall, the wonderful Elizabethan house on the A1198.
Our third MP event is the annual CPF dinner at Bourn Golf Club on 16th March when Kemi Badenoch, MP for Saffron Walden is our guest speaker.
And, of course, Heidi will also being giving the address at our AGM on 23rd March at Foxton Village Hall – and James Palmer, the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, will be our guest speaker.
So, lots of interesting people giving interesting talks coming up over the next month – make sure you book your tickets now before they're all snapped up.
